Nationals Bring the Heat in Georgia

A group of Nationals players and staff went down to Georgia from August 25-31 for a fantastic training opportunity with our partners, Team Elite. The week was spent at the beautiful Lakepoint Sports facility in Emerson, GA, just outside of Atlanta.

It was an action-packed week where players had the opportunity to participate in training activities as well as a Scout Day showcase where their skills were tested and evaluated. The Nats also got to enjoy game play under the hot Georgia sun with some fantastic US teams such as Team Elite, Alliance AquaSox, and Scoutz USA.

The trip was capped off with some leisure time with a visit to Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia to watch the Atlanta Braves take on the Colorado Rockies.

Nats players and coaches all had a great time; they are game-ready and looking forward to kicking off the fall season next week!
