Greenen Commits to Morton
The Ontario Nationals are pleased to share that Aiden Greenen has committed to Morton College (NJCAA II). Greenen, a right-handed pitcher from Kitchener, ON, joined the Nationals in the fall of 2021 and has been a dedicated member of the organization ever since.
“I wanted to take my game to the next level, continuing to grow and improve as a player,” he said of his decision to join the Nationals. “I felt that the CPBL was the place for that and would showcase my skills on the mound. I heard many great things about the Nationals organization from friends and research, as well as the coaching staff.” Since joining, he has embraced the coaching and direction needed to prepare for college baseball, achieving the goal he set as a young player.
For Aiden, the heart of baseball is in the challenges it presents, the camaraderie it creates, and the lasting connections it builds. “I love being part of a team and cheering on my teammates,” he shared. “Whether I have a good or bad game, I always leave with a good attitude and strive to be better the next time.” Even beyond the field, baseball has always been a source of joy for Aiden as it brings his family together—whether they’re at the field supporting him as he plays or at home gathered around the TV to watch a game.
Morton College stood out to Aiden for its strong baseball program and its proven track record of developing pitchers. “Morton has a great ball program and has shown consistent results year after year,” he said. “They have a great pitching staff that has had great consistency, and I look forward to working with the Morton coaching staff to reach my full potential on the mound.”
As Aiden Greenen prepares for the next step in his baseball journey, the Ontario Nationals extend their congratulations and best wishes for his continued success. Aiden also expressed his gratitude, saying, “I would like to thank the Nationals organization for the past couple of years. I will always remember the time spent with my teammates and coaches as a Nat.”
