Former Ontario National Brock Dykxhoorn has signed with the Uni-Lions of the Chinese Professional Baseball League.
Dykxhoorn spent the 2019 season in the Korean league (KBO) with the SK Wyverns and the Lotte Giants before joining Team Canada at the Premier 12 Tournament in Taiwan.
According to the Uni-Lions manager, Dykxhoorn spent the first few days with the big club before joining the farm league shortly after completing his 14-day quarantine.
The 26-year-old Goderich native reached Triple-A in the Astros system in 2018, the organization that drafted him back in 2014, before taking his career overseas.
