Dubé Commits to Wabash Valley College

The Ontario Nationals are pleased to announce Cam Dubé's commitment to Wabash Valley College (NJCAA DI). Dubé, a catcher from Cambridge, ON, joined the Nationals in 2022 and has been a standout member of the organization ever since. With this commitment, Cam becomes the first on the board for the Nationals' Class of 2025.

A proven talent on a national level, Cam was selected to participate in the Toronto Blue Jays Canadian Futures Showcase, where after a lengthy nation-wide prospects search, the top baseball talent from across Canada are selected to gather to display their skills. Cam impressed throughout the event, earning a spot in the Home Run Derby and making waves with a massive 450-foot shot that registered an exit velocity of 105 mph. He was further recognized by being selected for the prestigious Prospects Game at the event, competing on the victorious Team Encarnacion.

Cam joined the Nationals to sharpen his skills and take his game to the next level. “I knew the Nationals were going to get me where I needed to be to succeed, and the coaching staff was always happy to see me,” he shared, emphasizing the supportive and competitive environment he found within the club.

For Cam, the ongoing journey of improvement in baseball is one of the sport’s greatest rewards. “I love how there's always something to be worked on and get better at. And it keeps you humble because of the ups and downs,” he said, showing a mature appreciation for both the challenges and rewards of the game.

Known for his humble and hardworking nature, Cam’s intense focus and competitive spirit on the field have left a lasting impression on coaches and teammates alike. His commitment to both personal development and team success has been a valuable asset to the Nationals.

Cam found a strong connection at Wabash Valley College, where he will take the next step in his athletic journey. “The coaching staff at Wabash made me feel like home as soon as I got there, and their incredible track record over the last couple years is amazing,” he explained, noting the ideal fit he sees at Wabash.
